RIVERFIELD HALLOWEEN COSTUME PARADE AND DANCE-A-THON

We’re excited to combine two great events into one large school community celebration! Our annual Halloween Costume Parade will take place as always and will culminate in the PTA Dance-a-thon, a new event. Parents/caregivers are invited to come to the school from 2:00 - 3:15 PM on Thursday, October 31 to watch their students participate in the Costume Parade and Dance-a-thon.

• 2:00 PM: students and staff parade in their costumes around the school
• Parents/caregivers are invited to line the blacktop walkway and watch.
• 2:30 PM (approximately): grade levels assemble at their assigned locations for the Dance-a-thon
• K-2 classes - blacktop behind the school
• 3-5 classes - basketball courts
• 2:30-3:00 PM: students and staff dance!
• 3:00-3:15 PM: everyone gathers on the blacktop for a special event

Our schoolwide goal is for 80% of our community to raise money through the Dance-a-thon. If we reach our goal, there will be a special event at the end of the Dance-a-thon! PTA will share more information about how parents/caregivers can support the school through donations for the Dance-a-thon.
