The Fairfield Special Education Parent and Teachers Association, Inc., (SEPTA), invites anyone with an interest in improving the educational, social and recreational opportunities of children with special needs to join our membership. Together we can make a difference in every child’s life.
Support through SEPTA
Reaching out to parents of kids with IEPs, 504s, or anyone whose child receives special education resources, your SEPTA reps have a few questions:
- Would you be interested in getting together with other parents to ask questions or share your experience?
- If yes, would you prefer to meet in person in school or meet up for happy hour?
- Are there specific topics you'd like to discuss? Please let Katie Holley or Maureen Mooney know! (kmayholley@yahoo.com, mmooneynyc@gmail.com).
- **you do not need to be a member of SEPTA to reach out to Katie or Maureen. All parents are welcome
We’re excited to announce that it just got easier for you to join SEPTA! Just go to the link, fill out our new online membership form, pay via PayPal and that’s it – You’re a SEPTA member! Questions or comments? Email to fairfieldseptamembers@gmail.com
Please join us for our first Special Education Parent Meeting
If you have a child with an IEP, 504 or any special education needs, we'd love to have you join us to meet other parents with similar concerns.
We will have an open discussion with topics ranging from prepping for PPT's, understanding your child's IEP, finding out-of-school support and more.
Date: Monday, November 7th from 7:00-8:00 pm
Place: Library at Riverfield School
Please RSVP to Katie Holley or Maureen Mooney (kmayholley@yahoo.com, mmooneynyc@gmail.com).
