As you may have heard the Fairfield Public Library

visited Riverfield last week to share details

about the Summer Reading Challenge!

Here are some details to sign up !

Find your inner detective this summer at the library!

Last summer you cast your votes

and our new library mascot is now the fox!

This summer we will solve a few mysteries…

what is our mascot’s name? What do they like to read?

And of course – what will YOU read this summer?!

What stories captivate you? Will you try something new?

Solve the mysteries and explore all the genres storytelling

has to offer this summer!

Read, write book reviews, attend events, and complete

bonus activities to earn points and reach your goal this year!

Browse the Badges area to find your point goals

and extra activities to stay engaged this summer.

All virtual badges unlock tickets for Grand Prizes.

When you unlock a points badge, visit the library to post

it on your open book tracker!

Prizes for point badges along the way include brag tags,

a free book, a lawn sign, and for those reaching

the bonus 1,500 points level – an FPL *fox* plushie!

The Riverfield Green Team wants you to know about an opportunity

to recycle unwanted textiles while fundraising for the PTA!

There is a textile recycling bin located in the Riverfield parking lot

(left side) just as you exit.

Items that are still in good condition will be donated and reused.
Items not good enough to donate, may still be dropped in the bin for recycling (think: stained clothes, worn out shoes, ripped linens & towels, even stuffed animals!)

Our Boxtop Fundraiser

continues through the summer!

For over 25 years, Box Tops for Education

has given families an easy way to earn cash for schools —

Today, you can find hundreds of participating products

throughout the store.

Scan your receipt with the Box Tops app and you’ll earn

for your school with every Box Tops product you buy.

Here is how you can help Riverfield!

First, download the app.

Next, buy box top products.

Then, scan you receipt.

You have 14 days to submit your receipt on the Box Tops app.

If you buy in store, a quick scan with the Box Tops app

will identify participating products and automatically credit

your school earnings online. If you order online,

you can submit a digital receipt too!

Finally, earn cash for Riverfield!

(Earnings are delivered via checks to school

twice a year in December and April)

Riverfield is excited to welcome volunteers this year!

If you are looking to volunteer in your student’s classroom or

at Riverfield in any capacity this year, please fill out

the required volunteer form.

This form must be completed and submitted annually.

Completed forms may be sent into school with students.

HOW TO REGISTER/RENEW

FOR NEW AND RETURNING FAMILIES:

Please Enter/Update your information online under "My Account"
Login and follow the instructions and prompts.

You will either have to enter new information, or confirm/update your information from last year.

Please be sure to enter your child’s teacher so that you appear in the directory by class.

Once you “save” your information, you will be given an opportunity to join the PTA and make a payment online.

Riverfield PTA has partnered with a local vendor, Puddle Bear, to handle all of the Riverfield Spirit Wear.

The store is easy to browse with an average 7-day turnaround -- pick up your items directly at Puddle Bear when ready or have them delivered to the school for your child to bring home on a bi-weekly basis.

Puddle Bear will give back 10% on every purchase to the PTA.
