RIVERFIELD HALLOWEEN COSTUME PARADE - FRIDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2:40 PM START

• Students and staff will parade in their costumes. 
• If the weather holds, the parade will be outside; parents/caregivers are invited to come to school and watch.
• If there is inclement weather the parade will be indoors for students and staff only. Parents/caregivers will not be able to watch.
• Students should wear their “regular” clothes to school. They will have time to change into their costumes before the parade.
• Costume guidelines:
• Students need to be able to put their costumes on by themselves or with minimal assistance.
• Please keep “full costumes” at home to enjoy when Trick-or-Treating. We don’t want anything to happen to them at school before the big evening event!
• Please keep the following items at home. They are not allowed at school.
• Masks or make-up
• Weapons (e.g., swords, guns, nunchucks, spears, etc.)
• Scary costumes or costumes of characters from games/shows that are inappropriate for school (e.g., huggy-wuggy)

There will be no early dismissal from the Halloween Parade. If you choose to pick-up your students instead of having them follow their regular dismissal plans, please enter this change into School Dismissal Manager before 2:30 PM on 10/31 and you can take them home with you at dismissal.
