9:00am Refreshments / 9:30am Musical Program
Student Preparation Reminders:
- All students:
- Wear red/white/blue or anything patriotic.
- Wear sneakers (no crocs or sandals).
- Apply sunscreen at home.
- Bring sunglasses if you’d like.
- Bring a towel to school to sit on during the program.
- Students in 2nd grade: Bring a baseball cap to school.
- Any students who are scouts may wear their uniforms.
Additional Reminders:
- If possible, please have your students walk/bike/roll to school (walkers) OR take the bus (bussers).
- Please try NOT TO DRIVE to school on Patriotic Day.
- All parents/caregivers/family members are invited to join us on the lawn. Bring blankets or chairs.
- Staff will place chairs for district and town officials on the driveway after it is blocked off. These chairs are reserved and will have signs attached.
- All other chairs will be set up behind the reserved row.
- Please refrain from setting up chairs in front of the reserved row.
- The driveway will be blocked off from traffic immediately after arrival (at approximately 9:00 AM). Please plan accordingly.
- PTA will host a reception with light refreshments beginning at 8:45 AM
- A QR code will be provided for the program.
Following the program
- At the conclusion of the program, all students will return to their classrooms with their teachers.
- For the safety of our students, please do not pull them from their class lines.
- We encourage families to allow students to remain at school after the Patriotic Day program as it is a full day of school.
- If you need to take your student home after the performance, please enter this information into School Dismissal Manager as soon as possible. On Patriotic Day, come to the Main Office upon conclusion of the program.
