Thanks to the generosity of our PTA, we will be welcoming artist (and Riverfield parent)
Drew Morrison as our Artist in Residence!

Drew has been collaborating with Mrs. Lominy (library media specialist) and Mr. Matarazzo (art teacher) to design an experience that will teach students about comic strips and set them up to design their own. Students will have three sessions with Drew over the next month. Ask your student about their comic strip and what they’re learning from Drew!

About Drew:
Drew is a visual storyteller who started drawing as soon as he could hold a crayon. He went to college for art in New York City and has worked as an illustrator since 2005. Being an illustrator involves making artwork to be used in books, magazines, products, clothing, murals and more. Drew has worked with companies like Scholastic and Nike. He is the author and illustrator of the graphic novel BROKENLAND. Generating many variations of an idea is his superpower.
